Not advertised as a bonus book but basically it's a Fae Hallmark Christmas card. Short and sweet if you need a break from the action and drama.
Summary:
With the war with Hybern concluded and life resuming to its new normal, Feyre and her family settle in for her first Winter Solstice in the Night Court. Complete with presents, decorations, and romance in the snowy air.
Verdict: 7/10
In the previous post, I asked what could possibly come next after a trilogy about the war with Hybern seemingly came to a close? Turns out, it's a Christmas special. If I'd known that, I might have saved this for December, but oh well.
This was cozy vibes and fun character interactions. Not a lot happened plot-wise besides some minor character development, but when you've got a holiday special, you don't want it to be too heavy or action-packed. A little bit of foreshadowing and potential problems on the horizon, but nothing that readers would miss if they skipped this one.
It may be more of a bonus story than a plot necessity, but this book was short and sweet. A light-hearted read to curl up with after the emotional rollercoaster of the last three books.
